His childhood was a tough one and Anwar still remember those hard time. I was a kid and yet I sue to work for 8 hours in a factory where my job was to press socks and I was paid 200Rs. per day. It was a low amount yet I used to give it to my mother.
My father never liked my cricketing habit and he was strictly against it. He always told me that I was wasting my time paying tape ball cricket and look now where I stand I miss my father. If he had been here he would be proud of me.
Life was not easy for Anwar in the start but it looks as of a fairy tale. Anwar used to practice cricket daily and his first lucky breakthrough came when he was selected to Zone VI under 19 team. The coaches at that time Azam Khan and Zafar Ahmad asked him to be regular in the nets.
Anwar on the other hand had his own financial issues so he told them the truth saying that he cannot afford to come regularly because some days he has to work in double shifts to pay her mother a bit of more money than regular.
After his reply i just turned my face to TV screen and watched that Bhaati clean bowled a south African player, that was a fall of last wicket and after that that Pakistan Won the match by the Grace of Allah and by the effort of whole team specially two new comers perform well and earned fame. Special slogan i heared after wining match was “AA GYA BHATTI, CHAA GYA BHATTI”.
